We are excited that you have decided to volunteer and serve our patients and families. The Volunteer Services Department is available to assist you in the five-step process.

- Download the Confidential Reference Form. E-mail or give them to three people NOT related to you and have them complete the reference within one week of the date you gave it to them.

The Volunteer Services Department should be able to complete the volunteer application process within 10 days, provided that it has all of the materials. If you do not hear something from us within two weeks, please call us.

Step 3 - Complete the Orientation and/or Courses for Specific Positions
Download the Growing Opportunities brochure which includes a schedule of all classes for volunteers on pages 3 and 4. You can also view the current orientation schedule online.
Step 4 - Complete Hospice of Dayton requirements of TB testing and criminal background check.
TB testing will begin at Orientation.
Step 5 - Choose the volunteer position(s) in which you wish to serve and attend any additional training.
