Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton Dueling Piano Event Raises more than $100,000 for Patient Care and Services
Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton’s inaugural Keys of Life Dueling Piano event raised more than $100,000…
For children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent or a loved one, Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton is offering Pathways Breakaway, a daylong, grief-focused event for youth ages 7-17.
The event provides kids the opportunity to enjoy age-specific, fun activities such as swimming, navigating a life-sized labyrinth and playing games. In addition, they will participate in activities designed to encourage them to attend to their grief through art and support groups. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Pathways Breakaway will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, 8 am to 5:30 pm, a day on which many children will be out of school for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The event will be held at the Kettering Recreation Center (2900 Glengarry Dr., Kettering, OH 45420).
Pathways Breakaway is offered at no charge, but pre-registration is required. The event is limited to 50 children. For more information and registration materials, call Pathways of Hope at 937.258.4991, email PathwaysofHope@OhiosHospice.org, or register online at HospiceofDayton.org/Breakaway.
